Mixed-Media Collage
Working largely in the method of Automatism, my surrealist mixed-media images surprise me as much as they surprise any viewer. I’ve come to think of them as a visual form of active imagination, like wakeful dreamscapes. They come from an unconscious place within me that I’ve been exploring for decades.
Photography
Photography is an artistic outlet that allows me to compose the moment. I enjoy using photography as a way to stop and see the world, frame by frame, adding the filter of my unique perspective and sensibility to the eternal now.
The Seeker’s Notebook
I began journaling in 2011 both as a creative outlet and as a practice of documenting that which I am seeking: essentially, my Self. Being a Self-Seeker is an integral aspect of who I am and is what fuels my interest in art, travel, writing, as well as psycho-spiritual exploration. The Seeker’s Notebook is an expression of my ongoing journey as an explorer of both my inner dimensions and the outer world.
